Wayne Ledford

Wayne Ledford was born in Tucson, AZ, and raised in Phoenix. He is a self-taught artist and former ironworker. Wayne has displayed his work at more than 30 juried competitions throughout Arizona. Wayne is known as the “Outlaw Artist”. He uses a unique style, such as creating hand-carved feathers from various metals. His distinctive sculptures demonstrate a regard for the past by portraying significant aspects of early life in the Southwes. This historical approach results in subjects that not only highlight creativity but also serve as homage to previous cultures.
